Great app. I used it many ways....find the words..find the big/little word...like that it can be customized....speech output was ok but could be a bit more natural sounding

Easy to use little app that teaches the concept of using groups of letters to make words to make sentences. Ties in well with similar apps for making words and like all grasshopper apps is really customizable.

Hi, its me, again, from Japan. This is a useful tool for ESL classes, but I wish there was a pause feature or a manual mode. I need more time for explanations. I use several Grasshopper Programs. They may be the best of the learning programs on iTunes apps. Im on a very tight budget and these free apps are a godsend for me. I can try and see which programs work for me.

It was a great app until you couldnt do any adjustments in the settings!!!! Very frustrating when using it for a student, even they were frustrated!

this is the next step up after spelling words. agree with other comments and love the potential this app allows. keep going grasshopper apps

Easily customized for reading level.

This app uses real pictures, which I like. I like the way the words are put together and leaves room for the child to finish the sentence on their own.

Grasshopper has done it again---another meaningful, functional, educational app that is intuitive for both users: the child and the adult that is able to customize so easily. I am an SLP, this is a perfect app to begin the hierarchy of phonological awareness.

I am very excited about this app and LOVE the high quality photographs (instead of the popular bizarre cartoons in other apps). I will be using this app for a pilot ipad project with english language learners. I second Home teachers comments regarding capitalization and punctuation and would add that the pause in the phrase "you wrote" is unnatural (it wouldnt be that big of a deal but since its repeated each time it makes everything else seem a little off). Thanks for this great app!

This is great! Im sure that my students will love "playing" this -- and Ill love that they are building fluency and vocabulary! One suggestion: I would really like for the first word in the sentence to be capitalized and for each sentence to have punctuation since we really try to teach children that each sentence needs to start with a capital letter and end with some type of punctuation. Thank you for all of your great apps!

This app is very nice. For the next update I would like to see periods at the end of the sentences and an option for the first word of a sentence to be capitalized. I would also love to have an option that doesnt have boxes to match the number of letters in words, as my students just try to match the number of boxes to the number of letters in a word rather than really reading the words.

My son is really enjoying using Sentence Maker. The pictures are fantastic. I like having the ability to change the sentence length, as well as being able to change what hints are made available to the user. Great app!

It is great for those kids who already know the words, but sometimes dont know how to organize them in a sentence. It is about the structure. I love it.

This is a wonderful app for language development and it was free. GREAT job.

Great free app, fully customizable

First, I like this app and will use it at school with Kindergarteners. I like the graphics but I wish they used complete sentences with punctuation. Also, I like that you can change the capital letters but wish they would capitalize only the words that require capital letters. Overall, it will be an asset to our learning!
